Summary
A society resides beneath London, one that pre-dates the city it shelters below and is unknown to the people above – the Asylaum. Governed by its Council of Lords, the Asylaum is home to hundreds of Brethren. Theodore Pike is about to have his loyalty tested towards this society, which has sheltered him for over three centuries.
